I had a job done with this company a couple of years ago, and choosing them was a huge mistake. We did a complete structural reform on a house from top to bottom, big total cost, over 6 months working in the house every day, so we got to know them pretty well. When the job started, they were very attentive and the service was excellent, but during the course of the job this deteriorated to the point where we would send a message on Monday and not get an answer until Friday. They would miss meetings regularly without telling us, have us turn up to the house to let workers in and then the people we were waiting for wouldn't turn up, so many occasions of them wasting our time basically. On top of really poor service, here are some of the other problems we had:• We had monthly bills from them, and almost every single one contained errors. At first we assumed these were innocent mistakes, and luckily my wife checked them thoroughly. But the errors were never undercharging us. On one occasion we were charged 1700€ over the actual price of the skirting boards. If we didn’t notice these things, we would have paid thousands more than we should have during the reform.• We were given a price for kitchen counter tops from a set of samples, then we arrived to see how the work was going one day and saw the counter tops in an ikea box. We checked online, and saw they were similar to the ones we had chosen, but significantly cheaper. The architect in charge told us this was a mistake, and we were eventually charged the Ikea price, but again only because we caught them doing it.• Towards the end of the job the communication became close to zero, the person in charge had gone on holiday. We found out a month before the house was supposed to be finished that they needed a few more weeks to finish, so we were able to arrange a similar delay with the woman buying our old flat. Then when it got closer to the new date the same thing happened and we were able to delay the new owner of our flat once again. Then on the new, already twice delayed move in date when we arrived with all our possessions, the house was still a building site. Holes in ceilings, cables hanging from roof, piles of tools and building materials everywhere, dust on everything, no hot water… I could go on, essentially nowhere near completion. We had furious conversations with the person in charge that day before going to stay with family with a bag of hastily packed clothes for our 2 children under 4 years old and received a message that night saying “enjoy the first night in your new home” from the woman in charge of the job. I’m still not sure if she just had no clue what was going on, or if it was sarcastic. We finally moved in a few weeks later.• During that period when our possessions were there, and we were not we had a new box of cutlery and some children’s toys go missing from the house. We’ll never know for sure what happened I guess, but I have my ideas.• After moving in pretty much everything which involved carpentry needed done again, kitchen cupboard doors just fell off, no one was hurt luckily. Almost all skirting boards needed redone as well, the first few months were riddled with problems.• The house is under guarantee, so obviously when things go wrong our best option financially is to continue using group pages, although frankly we’d rather that wasn’t the case at this point. The issue plaguing us at the moment is water leaking from the roof of our daughter’s room. We see this as a clear emergency, I’m no expert but it seems incredibly dangerous. Group Pages on the other hand have looked at it a few times and been unable to fix it (understandable, it might not be a simple matter to fix it), but there are almost always whole weeks between visits and attempts. The ceiling in her room is turning black and looks like it may just fall in, I'll attach a photo of this to the review.I could keep writing for days about further problems, but I hope you get the idea, I definitely wouldn't recommend using this company, I'd run a mile.
